My name is SnugglePuss. You may have heard about me and my friends in the local news. We come from a colony of homeless cats living in an area where the remains of 25 cats were discovered this past April, strung up in plastic bags hanging from a tree. The Animal Control Officer and local Good Samaritans rescued us because of the squalid living conditions in this unsafe crime scene area. The SPCA of Westchester was contacted to provide us with safe housing, medical attention, good food, comfy beds and lots of TLC from staff and volunteers. While I cannot speak for all of my feline companions, I am very happy to be at the SPCA until I get to my forever home. I may be a little nervous or shy at first, but my SPCA caretakers say I have a great deal of potential. Please visit and ask to meet us. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. All Cats and Kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. Fees are as follows: A kitten 1 year and under is $150, 2 Kittens are $225, Adult cats over 1 year are $75 and Lonely Hearts Club Members/Seniors are $55.
