UPDATE: Not long after I arrived at the SPCA I was adopted. And although I came out of my shyness shell while at the SPCA, the move made me shy again. I think the family wanted a cat that would feel comfortable in a new home at a faster pace than is in me. So now I am back at the SPCA. I just need a bit more time to come out of my shell. I am hoping to find a family that will be able to give me all the time I need to become comfortable in my new surroundings. So how did I get to the SPCA? Well, when my human guardian moved into a retirement home I learned I also had to move. At first I was given room and board at a shelter that was just fine but it recently closed down. Now I am at the SPCA and this is also fine. I especially like my cage-mate Spice who keeps me company and takes care of me. That is because, while I am a sweet girl, I am a bit shy. But even thought I can be shy, I am gentle, mellow, affectionate and good natured. So wherever I end up, I would really like to have a friendly cat-mate to keep me company (along with my loving, forever family!). If this is for a special adoption event, please follow other instructions listed, otherwise, just bring this with you to the shelter...no appointment necessary!
