Venus is around 2 years old and came to us as a stray. The first thing you'll notice about her is how gorgeous she is. She's also a very smart girl! She was very scared when she first came to the shelter, but has made huge progress when it comes to trusting people -- now she loves going for walks and runs and giving and getting affection; she's very playful and affectionate once she is comfortable. She'd make a great companion for long walks and hikes. Because she can be shy, she needs to live in an adult-only home, and she needs to be the only pet, so no other dogs or cats. No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. You may also fill out an Application when you get here. We do same day adoptions. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. Also note, even if approved to adopt from us, if you have a dog(s) at home they MUST meet the dog(s) you are interested in adopting from here to ensure they get along before you can officially adopt. All Dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. High Kill Shelter/Southern Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $325, All Puppies are $325 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $175 and up. Seniors and Lonely Hearts Club members are $65.
